Admission Types

Ø  Procedure for Admissions

The D. Pharmacy (Post HSC Diploma in Pharmacy) course does not require a CET examination. Admission is based entirely on 12th Science marks and is completed through the following procedure:

Ø  Online Application and Registration:

·         The Competent Authority (DTE) shall invite Online Applications from Candidates for participating in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

·         Candidates must fill the Online Application in the prescribed form.

Ø  Eligibility Criteria:

·         The Candidate should be an Indian National.

·         Passed the 12th (HSC) Science examination or its equivalent with the subjects English, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology as one of the optional subjects.

Ø  Document Verification (Mandatory):

·         After submitting the online application, document verification is mandatory for all candidates.

·         Verification is done through e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode at the Facilitation Center (FC).

·         For those seeking admission under the Institutional Quota Seats, it is a prerequisite and mandatory to apply for document verification to the Competent Authority to be eligible for admission under this quota.

Ø  Merit List:

·         After successful verification of documents, a Provisional and then the Final Merit List is published, based on the marks obtained in the 12th Science examination.

·         This merit list is used to participate in the CAP rounds.

Ø  CAP (Centralised Admission Process) Rounds:

·         Candidates on the merit list are given the opportunity to fill the Option Form online with their preferred colleges.

·         Based on the candidate's merit rank and preferences, Seat Allotment is done during the CAP rounds.

Ø  Admission Confirmation:

·         Candidates who have been allotted a seat must report to the respective institute with their Allotment Letter and Original Documents to confirm their admission by paying the necessary Tuition Fee within the stipulated time.

·         Failure to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit shall result in the admission being treated as cancelled.

Ø  Required Documents
